Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CRB Checker Kenya ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

2. Description of Service

CRB Checker Kenya provides an online platform that allows registered users to:

• Request their personal CRB credit report from licensed Credit Reference Bureaus in Kenya
• View their credit score and credit status
• Pay for reports via M-Pesa STK Push
• Download PDF copies of their credit reports

We are an intermediary service. We do not generate, modify, or guarantee the accuracy of credit reports — that responsibility lies with the respective Credit Reference Bureaus.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a Kenyan citizen or resident with a valid National ID
• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Have a valid Safaricom M-Pesa registered line for payments

4. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with any other person. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised account use caused by your failure to protect your credentials.

5. Payments & Refund Policy

All payments are processed through Safaricom M-Pesa STK Push. Fees are clearly displayed before payment is initiated.

• No refunds are issued once a credit report request has been successfully submitted to the Credit Reference Bureau
• If a technical failure prevents delivery of your report after successful payment, you are entitled to a free re-attempt or a full refund — contact support with your M-Pesa transaction reference
• Payments made in error (e.g. duplicate transactions) may be refunded at our discretion within 7 business days

6. Authorised Use

You may only use the Service to check your own credit report. You must not:

• Request a credit report for any person other than yourself
• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to access, scrape, or automate requests to the Service
• Impersonate any individual or entity
• Circumvent rate limiting, security controls, or authentication mechanisms

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to Kenyan law enforcement authorities.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Credit reports will be free from inaccuracies (report accuracy is the responsibility of the CRBs)
• The Service will be available at any specific time

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, CRB Checker Kenya shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of business, income, or financial decisions made based on credit report information
• Losses resulting from CRB data inaccuracies
• Service interruptions due to M-Pesa downtime or third-party API failures

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report that is the subject of the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on this website is the property of CRB Checker Kenya. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms. You may also request account deletion by contacting support. Upon termination, your access to reports and data will cease per the retention policy in our Privacy Policy.
