Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about checking your CRB status in Kenya.
How do I check my CRB status?
Create a free account, enter your National ID and M-Pesa number, then pay via M-Pesa STK Push. Your CRB report is ready in minutes.
Is my information secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. Payments use Safaricom Daraja STK Push—we never see your M-Pesa PIN.
How much does a CRB check cost?
A listing status check costs KES 200. A full CRB credit report costs KES 300. Both are one-time payments via M-Pesa—no subscription required.
What does a negative CRB listing mean for my loans?
A negative CRB listing means a lender reported you have a non-performing loan. Most banks, SACCOs, and mobile lenders will decline new credit until the debt is repaid. Negative listings are removed after 5 years under Kenyan CRB Regulations.
